The Spirit of Mullingar festival promises to be a weekend of family fun and entertainment in support of these two worthy local causes. The event is proudly sponsored by Greville Arms Hotel Mullingar. This event is being organised to show that the community spirit associated with Mullingar is alive and strong and never forgets those in need of their support. The schedule for the weekend of activity is as follows – a fashion show on Thursday 12th May 2011, Celebrity Golf Classic on Friday 13th May 2011, John Aldridge Legends XI V’s Mullingar Athletic soccer match on Saturday 14th May 2011 and a 10K Fun Run on Sunday15th May 2011
