Mullingar Chamber 4th of July BBQ

Mullingar Chamber of Commerce held the second of their summer series of Networking BBQ’s on the 4th July in “The Crossbar” in Mullingar.

The event, which was American themed, invited all American citizens, businesses and traders, near and far, to attend for free to celebrate American Independence Day with the business people of Mullingar. “This new approach by the Chamber is a perfect way to promote the brand of the chamber internationally whilst also encouraging foreign direct investment to set up in Mullingar” says Pat Whelan – President of Mullingar Chamber.

“Events like this are a great way for businesses to discuss new opportunities, which otherwise may not occur without the aid of a networking event such as this BBQ. We are delighted so many members and non-members came along.  We were also delighted with Kathy Casey from Midlands 103 choosing to celebrate her National Holiday with us. The event had such positive feedback for us which is really encouraging for the Chamber”

Mullingar Chamber’s next networking event is due to be held in late August, please keep an eye on our website ( for details. We would encourage business people in Mullingar to use these events to promote their products and services, particularly, if they have a new launch or a business event of their own to talk about.

Pat Whelan – President of Mullingar Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Sean Lynch and staff of the Mullingar Arts Centre for providing the American Cheerleaders with their razzmatazz and also to Niall Dunne, Kevin Dunlevy and staff for welcoming us to Mullingar’s hottest venue “The Crossbar” for a superb barbecue and a great evening of networking in their beer garden on Thursday 4th July, 2013.
