Course Modules: 7 FETAC Accredited Modules + ECDL
The purpose of this course is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skill and competence to work effectively in the contact centre environment as a support agent. All participants will undertake the following Assessment Methods:
Venue: Course delivered from MID@S Technologies, Forest Park, Mullingar. Duration& Time: Twelve weeks Monday to Friday from 9 to 4 pm Start date August 19th 2013 Number of places on course 12 Eligibility criteria: Individuals (18 years +) who are unemployed and in receipt of a Department of Social Protection payment (FIS not eligible) and interested in securing work in the call centre, customer care sector. Educational level: Leaving Certificate or equivalent and/or individuals with prior experience or learning in this area e.g. customer care, reception, telesales etc. A good knowledge and practical IT and communication skills required for this industry and entry to training course. Only individuals interested in working in this industry on a full time basis should apply, 100 % attendance on course is required, participants may qualify for a DSP top up training allowance.
