Press Release

23rd August, 2013

Mullingar Chamber of Commerce held the final of their summer series of Networking BBQ’s on Thursday the 22nd August amid the beautiful rooftop garden of “The Greville Arms Hotel” in Mullingar.

It was the perfect backdrop to network as the beautiful summer sun shone down on the local business community.  The event which has been successfully held twice previously this summer, invited various businesses and traders of Mullingar to discuss potential business ideas whilst doing so in a relaxed atmosphere. “The event provided a great chance to get to know some new businesses in the town” says Pat Whelan – President of Mullingar Chamber.

“The Mullingar Chamber Summer Networking BBQ series has proven to us that there is a market for networking events and that many business people in Mullingar are eager to work together to make their town a success. The event had such positive feedback for us with this summer’s events providing a great precedence for future networking events”

Please keep an eye on our website (www.mullingarchamber.ie) for future networking event details. We would encourage business people in Mullingar to use these events to promote their products and services.  Our next major networking event is the Garda Chamber Cup Golf Classic which will be held in the stunning grounds of Mullingar Golf Club on Monday 9th September.  This is an all-day event which will cater for over 120 people and is the perfect opportunity for the business people of the Midlands to network with other like-minded professionals.  There are a limited number of  team places and sponsorship opportunities available, if you would like to discuss any of your companies requirements, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Chamber Team on 044 9344044.

Pat Whelan – President of Mullingar Chamber of Commerce would like to thank John Cochrane and staff of The Greville Arms Hotel for hosting such a wonderful event and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
