Blue September Ireland is a campaign which seeks to raise awareness in Irish men to face up to cancer. The purpose of Blue September is to challenge cancer gender inequalities – that men are more likely to develop and die of cancer than women. Irish men are 30% more likely than women to develop cancer before the age of 75 and 25% more likely to die of cancer.
