As part of the ongoing expansion of the MedTech sector in Mullingar, Mullingar-based medical device company Ostoform has raised €3 million in investment, with growth capital investor BGF leading the round.  This was also supported by Enterprise Ireland and existing investors including HBAN MedTech.

This announcement follows on from the transformational investment by Steripack at the National Science Park in Mullingar with the establishment of several leading-edge occupiers there.  These include Irish Manufacturing Research, SteriPack Group, SteriPack Ireland, Zoosh Digital, IDASO, Ashland Specialities Ireland and Masterflex Bioprocessing Ireland (the Antyllia Scientific Company).

Nearby at the IDA Ardmore Business Park, the recent announcement by the IDA of their planned development of an Advanced Technology Building further reinforces Mullingar as a town and location with substantial growth and progress in the MedTech space.  Also, the recent announcement by Ardonagh Group of their planned Global Data and Risk Management Centre in Mullingar is very much welcome as a leading new employer in the town in 2022.

Mullingar is also one of the leading locations for Robotics in Ireland with Robotics and Drives in Clonmore one of the leading companies in this space in Ireland.  Others leading companies in the town in such as ACS Drives and Control Systems Limited who are a leading drives solutions provider in Irish industry.
