Mullingar Chamber is the largest business representative group in the town of Mullingar, the Municipal District and County of Westmeath. With over 200 members from all sectors of the economy and culture, our mission is to promote Mullingar as a place to live and work. This objective is delivered by a board of 17 members and a full time office manager and assistant. Our priorities range from selling over EUR300k of Mullingar Vouchers per annum, running the Mullingar.ie and #LoveMullingar campaign as well as supporting local strategic sites such as Columb Barracks, the National Science Park and IDA Ardmore. We also liaise with all external stakeholders including Westmeath County Council, Enterprise Ireland, the IDA, Failte Ireland and others. In the past two years we have grown our membership by 75%.

We are thrilled to have the confirmation from Minister for Finance of Ireland, Paschal Donohoe, as our guest speaker on the night. We also and look forward to the panel discussion on the night including Minister Paschal Donohoe, Shane Keating [Chief Data Officer – Ardonagh Group], Ted Wright [CEO – Writech Industrial Services], Dr. Anne Cusack [Chair Midlands Region Economic Forum] and Mags Brennan [Head of Business Banking – PTSB], facilitated by our MC on the night, Joan Mulvihill.
We also look forward to music from the Cronin brothers band The Afters and might have some surprise guests on the night as well as a reflection on the huge success of Fleadh Cheoil 2022 in the town. We would like to encourage as many members, friends and others to consider this as a very good night out and a moment of reflection and celebration for our town and county as Ireland moves to a new phase and embraces the challenges ahead.
…we would like to thank all who assisted in preparing for this night, particularly Minister Donohoe for his time, Minister Peter Burke for his brilliant assistance, Ardonagh Group for their generous sponsorship, all the panellist speakers and MC Joan Mulvihill and the brilliant crew at Mullingar Park Hotel for offering an outstanding venue for this event.
