In addition to statutory road closures to facilitate Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, restrictions will apply in a number of car parks in advance of the event.
Restrictions to Car Parks
Access to a number of car parks will be restricted as follows:-
Blackhall – Partially closed to vehicular access from 5pm on Tuesday 1st August, 2023
with full closure to vehicles from 5pm on Friday 4th August, 2023.
The through road will be operational as normal until 10am on Sunday 6th August where a full closure will apply.
Fair Green – Closed to vehicular access from 5pm on Wednesday 2nd August, 2023.
Friars Mill Road – Designated for Disabled parking only from 8am on Sunday 6th August
until 4am on Tuesday 15th August.
Austin Friars Car Park – This car park will be partially allocated for Disabled parking from
8am on Sunday 6th August until 4am on Tuesday 15th August.
VMS signage will be erected to alert motorists in advance. Other public car parks outside the road closure zone will operate as normal.
