Shop Local this Christmas! Westmeath County Council is spreading the cheer with FREE Off Street parking in council car parks around Mullingar on these festive dates:
* Friday, 17th November
* Friday, 24th November
* Saturday, 9th December
* Friday, 15th December
* Saturday, 16th December
* Thursday, 21st December
* Friday, 22nd December
* Saturday, 23rd December
This applies only to the public car parks. Paid parking will remain on the main streets, where parking is limited to a maximum of two hours in order to ensure a turnover of vehicles. In addition, Lynnbury Carpark (at the rear of the County Buildings) is open for free parking every weekend.
