IKC3 Sustainability Event – Skills, Opportunities and Getting Started

More Posts

Last week Mullingar Chamber in conjunction with Chambers Ireland and Irelands Knowledge Centre for Carbon, Climate and Community Action (IKC3) held its first Sustainability session.  Developing sustainability skills and sharing approaches were key themes at the session. ‘ There is a recognition that we all need to upskill and learn from each other to enable the transition to net zero,’ says Thomas Flynn of Mullingar Chamber. ‘Here in Mullingar, we have excellent examples from local business and key projects we can build upon, and looking ahead we will be identifying and prioritising other themes and knowledge sharing activities.’

Thank you to David Williamson from IKC3 for highlighting the skills required for a sustainable future and providing a useful horizon scan of areas that business, large and small, need to begin planning for. We look forward to working with IKC3 as our activities develop.
