Breedon is a leading construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import / export terminals and two slate production facilities. We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified General Operative to join our team team at Breedon Cement Kinnegad on a fixed term contract. The suitable candidate will be responsible for general operations, the facilitation of production plan and to ensure safe operations of the plant. All necessary training will be provided to the successful candidate. We offer a competitive remuneration package, as well as other benefits associated with a progressive employer. Key Responsibilities Uphold and contribute to our positive Health and Safety culture. Uphold and contribute to our environmental standards. Operate packing plant and palletising equipment. Load trucks with palleted packed products. Drive forklifts, teleporters, and other mobile equipment. Assist in dealing with breakdowns in the plant. To undertake any other reasonable duties as necessitated by your function. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Ability to work safely. To maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach to your job Good communicator. Possess problem solving skills. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
