We are internationally approved to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards & have Award Winning expertise in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection. THE ROLE: Our Head Office is based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath however our installation crews work on sites across the Ireland, the UK and Europe. The Installation Foreperson will work on various sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe to carry out mechanical installation tasks – installing pipework, fittings, etc. Travel allowance to site is provided by the Company. There is a Pay Scale in place for this position which includes payment for travel to and from work in a Company vehicle. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 5+ years’ experience in a Construction environment 2+years’ experience installing Fire Protection Systems Proven record of coordinating and managing site projects Safe Pass Card & Manual Handling Certificate (Theory & Practical Assessment) issued by QQI Qualified Trainer. Must be flexible and available for overtime and stay aways depending on site location. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload Flexible, adaptable, problem solving and can-do attitude to work Excellent time management, attention to detail, and reliability skills Excellent reporting skills Positive, ambitious and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment DESIRABLE CRITERIA: Full Drivers Licence for a minimum of 12months Abrasive Wheel Training CSCS Slinger and Signaller (Banksman) CSCS Telescopic Handler Operation (Teleporter) CSCS Mobile scaffold access tower Forklift training DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a team of Installation Operatives to meet all project requirements and deadlines. Ensure Installation documentation is completed correctly: Responsible for submitting progress drawings, testing records, site audits, RAMS, access, and site permits. Supervise works and attendance of a team of Installation Operatives and subcontractors, providing guidance and training regarding job procedures, work standards and equipment use. Responsible for reporting incidents, performance management and time and attendance. Ad hoc tasks as requested by Management.
