THE ROLE: Our head office is based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath however our installation crews attend sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will commence your position in the Mullingar workshop for a training period (duration dependant on experience) and then will work on sites with an experienced Foreman and crew to carry out mechanical installation tasks – installing pipework, fittings etc. Travel allowance to site is provided by the company. There is a payscale in place for this position which includes payment for travel to and from work in a company vehicle. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work as part of a team under the supervision of the Installation Foreman, Be open to learning and continual improvement Assembling and installing pipework and fittings as per company’s standard operating procedures and in-house training Attend industry/health & safety training courses as required ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to learn and to stay away depending on site location. Be comfortable working at heights. Flexible regarding working hours and available for overtime when needed. Excellent safety practices Hold a valid Safe Pass and Valid Manual Handling ticket Previous experience on construction sites Values and understands Safe Work Practices in a Construction environment DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: Relevant trade qualification an advantage Hold a valid MEWP ticket Full driving license and clean driving record
