IT Project Co-Ordinator

THE ROLE The IT Project Coordinator will work closely with the IT & Innovations Manager to plan, schedule, and monitor the progress of projects. We are rapidly expanding, and the IT Project Coordinator’s role will be a fast-paced environment as a result. The IT & Innovations department will help support the IT requirements of Writech and its subsidiary companies. Reporting to: IT & Innovations Manager Hours: 37hrs per week Days: Monday – Friday ESSENTIAL CRITERIA The ideal candidate will be a self- starter with initiative. Excellent time management and communications skills. Ability to work well under pressure within a deadline driven environment. Attention to detail. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Working with the IT department manager, plan and schedule projects, setting targets and monitor progress. Monitor and action change requests as actioned by the department manager. Plan change request actions in tandem with larger group projects for the development team. Create reports monitoring project progress and forecasting project schedules. Create and implement Gantt charts, project management schedules and business improvement initiatives. Supporting the IT & Innovations Manager with IT related administrative tasks i.e.: creating. PO’s, receiving deliveries, maintaining stock control. Implement the IT & Innovations Strategy in line with the Company Values, strategy & operational goals. Deliver internal and external communications to all stakeholders in a timely manner. Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment in conjunction with the Writech Health & Safety Statement. Proactively engage in all quality initiatives while ensuring best practice standards are promoted and maintained. Ensuring all written documentation is accurate, timely and legible, keeping all records up to date at all times.
