Payroll Administrator Trainee


This role will suit someone looking to take the first steps in a Payroll position as Training will be provided. THE ROLE: The Payroll Administrator Trainee will work closely within the Payroll Department to deliver weekly / monthly payroll in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to take there first steps within the Payroll Department. ESSENTIAL SKILLS The ideal candidate will be a self- starter with the initiative Excellent time management, prioritising and communications skills are essential Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment Deadline driven and detailed orientated. DESIRABLE SKILLS Bright pay experience or equivalent Payroll system. Microsoft Word & Excel UK & Ireland Tax knowledge DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the preparation of weekly/ monthly payroll reporting and processing Assist in the preparation of payment information using Bright Pay payroll software, appropriately applying benefits such as BIK on cars, healthcare, etc. Management of vehicle tracking system for all road-based crews Payroll reporting including absenteeism, benefits, Working time and BIK. Ensuring weekly times are entered for all trade and staff on site within deadline set Liaise with HR in relation to new starts, transfers, increases and employees finishing Dealing with any payroll related queries as they arise Process employee reimbursements Benefits administration using a variety of online systems.
