Purchasing Administrator (Maternity Cover)

JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Senior Buyer, the Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for: Providing forecast numbers to suppliers to ensure continuity of supply Determining quantity and timing of deliveries having review stock levels and knowing future requirements Performing cost and scenario analysis Ensuring all administration is up to date to ensure timely delivery from suppliers Research potential vendors Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers The successful candidate will ideally have a qualification in Supply Chain or a related field, have strong analytical skills and be a proficient user of MS Office, particularly Excel. Previous experience working in a purchasing role and/or using a MRP system is an advantage.
