The CEO of Chambers Ireland attended a meeting of the Labour Employer Economic Forum (LEEF) in Dublin. The meeting was attended by An Taoiseach, Tánaiste, Ministers McGrath, Ryan and O’Donoghue, Unions and Employer representatives.
The meeting focused on the economic outlook as outlined in the Stability Programme update released yesterday and the more recent inflationary pressures issues driven in part by the war in Ukraine and resulting sanctions.
It was agreed that regular dialogue through the LEEF framework would be desirable over the come weeks and months to address the current challenges. Please engage with your local affiliated Chamber to stay up to date and to advise us of issues as they arise.
